A heartfelt letter from me, Matias, owner-operator of SKCR.
Dear Paddler,
Have you been dreaming of getting away?
In these days of the ongoing pandemic, it makes sense. We all need a guiding star to pull us through these tough times. Indeed, I hope you are as healthy and happy as you can be with the huge challenges these years have brought to all of us.
Speaking of challenges, I have had a few of my own—and like a kayaker who finds himself turned upside down by rough water—I have done my best to pop back upright. In a nutshell, it was an unexpected and jarring change in partnership that caught me broadside.
Once I surfed from the surprise, I was quickly motivated to re-brand the company I opened in 2015. Thus, “Tropical Sea Kayaking” has become “Sea Kayaking Costa Rica.” (Note: In am no way associated with Tropical Sea Kayaking or Vince Lamain as of August 2021.)
You can find my interim website at old.seakayakingcostarica.com including a link to over thirty Google 5-star reviews. I am happy to report that SKCR had a busy and successful season in 2022, and I am now booking trips for Dec 2022-June 2023.
